This family really shouldn’t have the last name Wynn so to distinguish them from the true descendants they shall henceforth be known as Not Wynn to remind me they are in fact not Wynns.
Remember how in the last update Les and Rain Not Wynn moved out with their triplet babies and toddler Korin to save my sanity. This mini round started with four young kids lying on the sidewalk while their parents took a tour of my newly built plebeian apartment complex.
On the ground floor we have two spacious apartments each complete with a bathroom, nursery, shop* area and main living area. In the main area we have a few couches with a bookshelf disguised as a cupboard. We have a pantry and a small food preparation area. Meals have to be cooked outside on the corner stove to minimise the risk of fires. Outside a few recreational objects and a communal dining area fill an open courtyard. The Not Wynns decided to rent the left apartment on the ground floor.
On the top floor the apartments are smaller and narrower with bigger bathrooms and attached balconies overlooking the courtyard. We have a small seating area and a poker table. Overall it’s scarcely furnished with room for four families.
*The shop area is just for show. Plebians who live in this housing will not be opening proper shops. Shops make money too fast and the families who will be living in these apartments won’t have the startup costs.
Completely in character Les and Rain decided to christen their new apartment by woohooing on the sofa outside the door.
Before talking to the landlord. He was less than impressed.
Their shop area was decorated as if selling food but they had little money after buying three extra cribs. You can see the ever loyal Felix trying to find his way back to his sims. Can’t have those kids starving now can we Felix?
I rearranged things. The don’t have much space available so I need to use it wisely.
Isn’t he cute.
Rain was predictably pregnant again before nightfall.
She took the time to potty train Korin. One less diaper to clean would be a godsend with so many babies.
Les took the time to teach him to talk but that’s about as far as his education went.
Pyrrhus, the youngest triplet grew up first.
He was followed by Horacia.
She was given a quick haircut.
Cato grew up last.
Korin shared a birthday with the triplets and became a child.
He was given a more complete makeover than the triplets.
Horrified Korin looks on as his mother chokes.
Luckily Les managed to save her. After what happened to the Morans I was terrified Les or Rain would die and the other would be left with no chance of surviving if they fell ill.
As if in some kind of game, Grimmy turned to claim Les’ soul in Rain’s place. Luckily she outwitted him.
Bump! *Sighs* Another one?
Doris someone comes over to make friends with her baby cousins (I have no idea how she’s related to them).
Rain was too engrossed in her food to save him.
Content with Korin Death left the family alone for the remaining twelve hours of the round.
Sofa: Rain (3), Les (4)
Floor: Pyrrhus (5), Horacia (5), Cato (5)
You may think it harsh that I didn’t have the parents plead for Korin. However I play with rules about pleading. In order to plead for a sim’s life a sim must arrive at Grimmy without me directing them and cry over the body which didn’t happen in this case.
